In 1938, my family took in a young Kindertransport refugee, Harry Kornhauser, who had fled the Nazis in his native Germany. Even now, it seems so hard to believe that so much hatred could be directed at innocent men, women, children and babies because they were Jewish. We must never forget the Holocaust, a time when mankind looked into the abyss. And we must fight to destroy the poison of anti-semitism.
